Our Recruiting Process

Interviewing for the FDP

WHO DO WE LOOK FOR?

Eligible full-time candidates are current seniors or recent graduates, while internship candidates are current juniors. It is preferred that candidates come from a Bachelor’s program with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Statistics, or Math. However, students graduating from other Bachelor’s programs with a strong interest in finance and/or healthcare are also encouraged to apply.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES:

APPLICATION

Applications for the FDP Full-Time and Intern positions open July 28th, 2023.

We intend to contact every applicant with an invitation to interview or a polite denial. Due to the number of applications that we receive, please allow several weeks for our reply.

We are currently accepting applications for both the Full-Time and Intern positions on a rolling basis.

FIRST-ROUND INTERVIEWS

First round interviews will consist of basic informational-style questions. We assess the fit between your needs and ours through a combination of informational questions, behavioral questions, and general conversation. At the FDP, we place the utmost importance on the "fit" of the candidate. Because we're still growing, we prioritize finding candidates who will continue to positively cultivate the program's culture and brand.

SECOND-ROUND INTERVIEWS

For selected candidates, second round interviews are typically in-person. Full-time and Intern analyst candidates will prepare a short presentation for a group of program stakeholders and will spend the rest of the day interviewing with program members and leaders of Central Finance. Similar to the first-round interviews, second round interviews are designed to further understand the "fit" of the candidate, as well as gauge technical and financial proficiency.
